Power Out at the Farm, Bubba Relocated

The electricity went out at the farm, and the Mac Mini that runs the farm's systems had been down almost 20 hours by mid-afternoon. Quid moved it to the office in West Hartford, where it has wall power and internet, and told it to get itself sorted and check that its monitors work.

By 15:08 the Mini reported in from the new spot: network up, online, plugged into wall power, and everything else checking out after the move. The Dell monitor was showing black at that point.

A photo at 16:33 showed the Mini on the desk with a numpad and mouse beside it, but no monitor cable attached. The screen needs its own video cable run from one of the Mini's ports, since power alone won't light it. That's the one loose end from the move.

The farm itself is still without electricity as far as today's record shows. The Mini is working from the office in the meantime.
